PAX West introduced me to new indie games during my time visiting the Indie Incubator Corner of the convention. Watsonville easily caught my eye because of its artwork and horror aspect.
Watsonville is a first-person psychological horror VR game. Explore your family’s 1990s mobile home, uncover fragments of a troubled past, and solve environmental puzzles as childhood memory distorts familiar spaces while you try to escape the house and your family’s dark history.
Normally, I don’t play VR games due to them giving me motion sickness; but I am wiling to give this game a shot! After talking with the creator for a little bit, it was great to hear about the game. I told him the artwork caught my eye and I love horror story games.
For any of my VR gamers or ones interested in trying a new gaming experience – Keep an eye out for Watsonville as it will be releasing soon.
I’m so glad to get introduced to this game during PAX West!
